Privacy policy
About this website
This draft describes shopwiselane.com, published by Md Yousuf Ali Khan. It is separate from each app's privacy policy. Updated on 2026-10-11, version 0.2-draft. It needs developer approval and legal review before publication.
Website analytics
We use self-hosted Umami at stats.shopwiselane.com to understand which pages people visit and which App Store links they tap. The tracker runs only when analytics is configured for the website build. It never runs on an app's privacy or support page. The app itself does not use this website tracker.
Cookies and recorded information
The website sets no analytics cookies and uses no Google Analytics, tag managers, embedded media or third-party advertising scripts. Fonts and images are served with the website.
Umami records the visited page, referrer, approximate country, device type, browser, operating system and browser language. We also record App Store link taps as named events. We do not send family photos, recordings, phone numbers, support messages or email addresses as analytics events. Umami creates an anonymous session identifier without storing a cookie.
Analytics retention and choices
Website analytics is kept until we manually delete it. There is no automatic expiry period. The publisher administers Umami on a server in the USA and has declared that no other person administers the server or its backups. Database backups are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket in Eastern Europe. The configured schedules keep the latest 3 daily, 4 weekly and 3 monthly snapshots. This is a count limit, not a fixed deletion deadline; failed or paused schedules can leave older snapshots.
You can block the tracker at stats.shopwiselane.com with a browser content blocker and still read the site. Session replay, heatmaps and public report sharing are off. TODO(copy): Legal review must confirm any additional notice, choice or international processing arrangements required for this setup.
Hosting
Cloudflare Workers static assets hosts the website. A visit sends connection information, such as your IP address and requested URL, to the hosting service so it can deliver the page. Having no analytics cookie does not mean that hosting processes no personal information.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled. TODO(copy): Confirm hosting-provider logging, access, retention and international processing arrangements during legal/setup review.
When you email us
If you email support@shopwiselane.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments. We use them to answer you. Please avoid sending children's photos, recordings or other personal details unless they are needed for your request.
Support mail forwards through Cloudflare Email Routing to the publisher's Gmail inbox. The publisher records the date each request is resolved and manually deletes its messages, attachments and downloaded copies 90 days later, including permanent deletion from Gmail Trash. Provider logs and backups follow their own retention periods, so this is not a guarantee of erasure from every provider copy after 90 days. The publisher uses Gmail only and has confirmed there are no separate mail-client or personal-backup copies. TODO(copy): Confirm Cloudflare internal-log/backup retention during legal/setup review.
Questions, requests and changes
Email support@shopwiselane.com to ask about information we hold or to request correction or deletion. We will explain what information we have and how we can respond. For questions about legal rights or complaints, contact the relevant privacy authority in your country.
We will update this page and its version date when website practices change. TODO(copy): Legal review must confirm any further notice, complaint contact or consent process required before launch.
Languages and app policies
This notice is available in Arabic and English. TODO(copy): A lawyer will review how to resolve differences between the language versions; neither version currently takes precedence. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked below.
